an additional $3,200 in federal tax credits annually.

Utilities
Through EmPOWER Maryland and your local utility, you can receive a subsidized energy audit and retrofit rebates.
Federal Tax Credit
You may be eligible for federal tax credits through the Home Performance Program:
Air sealing, insulation, and energy audits are eligible for a tax credit up to $1,200.
A heat pump HVAC or water heater is eligible for tax credits up to $2,000.

Financing
Loan options for Maryland residents' energy efficiency improvements include:
State loans up to $30,000.
State loans up to $15,000.
